A holiday tradition

Who says snowmen have to be made of snow? The good people of Albuquerque, NM, chose a different material for their holiday snowman.

“We take for granted so many things in life; Not truly appreciating what’s in front of our eyes.  But from the moment I saw that jet black hair and that olive skin color, I knew there was no better honor than being your mother.” – Teesha Ross

Many layers of wallpaper. When I walk into an old house I’m always curious about the people who have lived there, if they were happy and so on.

While you start your week …

It is a short week after all …

Found this on Pinterest – which I love.

Have a Happy Thanksgiving.

Bold and Beautiful

Yes ~ Bold & Beautiful.

Morningjoy's Weblog

Off the path again,

twisting, turning, bending

I pick my way through greenery dense

With twisted vine, banana leaf, and palm

Iridescent flies of dragon and butter

Seek some illusive prize, so I follow

Then,  peeking through jungle bars

I startle at a thunder-clap of color

Here stands a  cluster of lobster claws

Baskets of lipstick with handles of emerald and cobalt

Bracts of steel closeting petite white blooms

Bearing nectar-rich treasure reserved for dainty wings

My heart claps in gratitude for this one

So bold and beautiful

Designed  as one more consummation

Of celestial purpose and grace

Green, Green & More Green!

JUST READ!

Zeebra Designs & Destinations

Journey with me to Nicaragua for WordPress’s Weekly Photo Challenge of GREEN.   The following images were taken on a drive from the Managua airport to the petite area of Limon, where I stayed at Casa Rosada for one month in November of 2010.  The landscape, lush green from a lengthy rainy season, provided numerous photo ops along the way.

Enjoy the images, which helps illustrate that Latin America is not as dangerous as many are led to believe!

November to Remember 2012 *** MY OPINION … which I am still entitled to!

THIS IS IN RESPONSE TO SOMEONE ELSE’S POST ABOUT WHINING….

which Richard Brandson had made on

GOOGLE +

OVER THE PRESIDENTIAL ELECTION ON NOVERMBER 6TH 2012 ELECTION

LAST NIGHT BETWEEN THE REPUBLICAN

MITT ROMNEY

AND THE (CURRENT/PAST) NOW AGAIN BARACK OBAMA

November to remember

****************************************

Richard Branson 8:22 AM  –  Public

Four more years to build consensus in America and get the country really moving again on a united front http://virg.in/po

************************************************

You whine when you have no health care OR your parents are left to die because of their age.  YOU whine when you can find no job.  You whine when your children cannot get a good education.  You whine when the house you or your parents or your children can no longer live there.  You whine when you do not have enough food to eat.  You whine when you have no gas to drive anywhere – let alone to the doctor or ER … YOU whine  when more AMERICANS are killed and “he” leaves to go to any state and not address the issue but continues to lie about it.  YOU WHINE …. when you realize what a mistakeall of you have made when it comes to dicisions being made for YOU…that you have no mind of your own… but maybe that is part of the problem now.
November ELECTIONS happens every four year……………..
It will be another longggggggggg for years.
REMEMBER I AM STILL ENTITLED TO MY OPOINION FOR NOW.!!!

MY DISAPPOINTMENT with THIS ELECTION

THIS IS WHAT I’VE POSTED WITH COMMENTS VIA VARIOUS CONVERSATIONS
ON GOOGLE+ WITH THE
Regarding the  Presdiental Race on November 6th,2012
with the Current President Barack Obama
and the Challenger Governer Mitt Romney
**** Why does no one understand and take into account that 4 Americans
were killed and the Current President still is lying about it. Why he covers up
his birth place.  WHY did he go to Nevada the day after they were KILLED?
They were American Citizens – protecting America – which we no longer have
control over – the Government and this Prestident will do … and Health Care
controlled by others (government) NOT You the people! How many times have we
got to listen to this ‘man’ be onb TV and talk?  One thing is for sure …. There is
ONE truth he will always tell ~ the lie is will tell the American Public over and over
again…. This Great land of American .. Just went down the drain~!
Everything our (ALL) of pur forefathers fought to make us a Great Nation…will no
longer be.  I wish that America had woken up and realized what BAD shape we are
in ~ and it will ONLY get worse!
THIS IS my opinion…. but why go campaigning?  Why spend all that money IF
it is decided by electorial votes and NOT how the People VOTE!****
Now on to my comments…………without all the States in.
MITT – do NOT conside …. Wait until ALL the votes are counted – tomorrow …. or a week …. DO NOT~!
YOU shoud be a MAN and wait until ALL the votes are counted!  I forgot …YOU don’t know how!
YOU shoud be a MAN and wait until ALL thje votes are counted!  I forgot …YOU don’t know how!
+1
OH I soooooooooooo agree..   I hope that MITT does not conside BUT waits until ALL the votes have been counted …. LIKE TOMORROW!
Bad call for any ONE to make the call for “O” when NOT all of Florida has yet to come in~! If all of the STATES have not yet counted all 100% of the vote … then WHY vote at all if the people voting does not count … but the state electrol vote … HOW stupit….along with so many stupid people  in this the USA … which had a chance to rebuid – but now will only worsen.  Why NOT vote ONE day .. Count the NEXT  SECOND day … and Announce the THIRD day????  With so many counties still out …. ie 68% is NOT 100% of those voted …. Who is dishonest NOW!
PS .. IF THIS man is re-elected … we are in for HELL — all over again//////hate to think that there are that many people that do not understand the termoil we are in.
I could not agree MORE!!!
The networks call this one ( like another ) toooooooooo soon.
What happened to the American Votes!???
WHY DO THE AMERICAN PEOPLE EVEN GET POUT AN VOTE WHEN SOMEONE ELSE IS GOING TO DECIDE WHO WILL WIN??? WHY SO MUCH CAMPAIGNING .. ALLLLLLL THAT MONEY ….. THE $ THAT THE PRESIDENT SPENT WAS NOT HIS … BUT OURS … WHERE DID HE GET THE $ .. WE WILLHAVE TO PAY FOR IT .. MITT HAD HIS MONEY & RAISED MONEY…
WHAT A SHOTTY RUN FOR PRESIDENT & NOT LET THE PEOPLE SPEAK .. THEIR VOICE.  DO YOU NOT THINK THAT SOME ‘D’ ARE TIRED OF WHAT ‘O’ HAS DONE AND CHANGED THEIR VOTE FOR THE ‘R’ … IF YOU THINK NOT … YOU ARE MISTAKEN.
